I especially love fall at the cabin. It's been a while since I've done the hike up to Silver Lake (more like Silver Puddle right now) but I finally got up there last Friday. Even though the leaves were past their prime, the air was cool, the sun was warm, and the mountains were majestic.
One of my favorite things about a fall hike is the carpet of leaves on the trail. To me, there is no more beautiful palate of colors than fallen leaves, in whatever stage of decomposition.

love you mama
you look so young and beautiful :)
I just barely found out you had a blog! I am so behind with not being at FHE's. I love your blog. It is so cute and fun to see what has been going on. I am wishing I was closer so I could go to the cabin and do the hike. It looks beautiful up there!
I just barely found your blog too since Annika listed it as a link! It's so fun to see all your kids and grandkids. I actually cleaned jakes basketball coach's teeth the other day. He is a pt of ours and said Jake is a great player!! :o)
